Downgrades

For patients admitted under a surgical service, the service will downgrade the patient to a step-down unit themselves.  Specialty services will also place their own transfer orders.  For medical patients admitted directly to the intensivist, please utilize the following downgrade process to the medical wards.  Direct any questions to Allison Ong, director of Patient Placement and the Transfer Center.
